Hidden in the foothills of St. Helena and below Howell Mountain, you will find Seiler Estate. Our vineyards grow on the slopes of Glass Mountain, a volcanic summit uniquely jeweled in obsidian glass and rich in minerals. Their roots drink exclusively from the cold, pure waters of Crystal Springs. On many mornings the slopes are blanketed in fog that burns off to bright daylight later, and trade winds funnel through the valley around 4pm each afternoon. In the summers, heat can reach to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
The land is so ideal for growing that it was one of the first places Italian settlers came to plant their vineyards and establish their wineries.
